Follow the Water  &  Nostalgia

I walk alone among the trees. I wade slowly and wait for the water to still.

By slowing my step and my seeing, I become more aware of my behaviors while wandering. I choose to stabilize my camera using the trees, rocks and ground. Some scenarios require my body to become a tripod, as I lean, hold or sit in the surroundings to secure the camera.

I seek ambiguity and strangeness, to challenge how we digest what we see, in turn questioning our relationship to our surroundings and how it is experienced. An ongoing series, these images surround feelings of memory and nostalgia.
